['devn 'aɪlənd], unbewohnte Insel der Queen Elizabeth Islands im Kanadisch-Arktischen Archipel, 55 247 km²; Ostteil vergletschert (Mächtigkeit des Eises zum Teil 500-700 m). Im Westteil befindet sich der Meteoritenkrater Haughton Dome mit einem heutigen Durchmesser von 18 km; aus der Verbreitung der Rückfallbreccien wird gefolgert, dass der im Miozän (Tertiär) entstandene Krater kleiner war (ursprünglicher Durchmesser etwas über 12 km). Entdeckt wurde der Krater 1955.
